| . | My name is Kev Schofield. I was a soldier for 24 years in
the Royal Engineers. After a very varied, non traditional, resettlement journey I went to work for a military tailoring company where I was responsible for repairing, converting and manufacturing heavy duty military items such as bergens, webbing and daysacks. I worked for that company for 11 years, becoming their heavy textiles manager. This role included the development of new products and managing a completely separate workshop in the Isle Of Wight. After redundancy in 2021, I set up Green Olive Stitching to continue doing the work that I enjoy. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, especially bushcraft and outdoor crafts. The process of creating something with your own hands from raw materials is something that brings me immense pleasure, whatever medium that may be in. I like to learn new things, I believe you are never too old to learn. |
